Private Photography Lessons

I’ve been lucky enough to teach at the high school, college and adult levels, but one of my favorite things is teaching private one on one photo lessons.  I was hired yesterday specifically for lessons on studio lighting and here are a couple of images from the session:

Debbie Orwat was an innocent victim…ie – happened to be nearby and was a willing model.. Thank you so much for jumping in!  🙂

When it wasn’t Debbie, I had to be the model.  It’s definitely my preference to be behind the camera instead of in front of it!  For this image, there was a key light (the main, most powerful light above and to the left of the camera), a fill light (not as bright and located above the camera), and a third light pin-pointed on the back of my head.

For this image there were still 3 lights, but instead of the hair light, it was turned to illuminate the background, making it a bit brighter.  In the post-production, the image was desaturated to give it a stone washed look.

If anyone is interested in private lessons, please don’t hesitate to contact me!!  ( 805-895-6148 or info@jensensutta.com )
