By this time in 2021, most of us know firsthand the difference between an in-person meeting and a zoom call…but thought I’d try and show how much goes behind the scenes to make a successful virtual event. It’s been easy to log on (possibly in pj’s) and watch a virtual concert or event from home, but check out how much is involved to make it happen. So many people, electronics, tech, planning, organizing…etc:
Sometimes, there’s even a zoom call combined with a taping of a virtual event…Thank goodness for an excellent and reliable internet connection!
I definitely prefer the in-person events, both to document the crowd energy and reactions and to interact with speakers and celebrities…but I sure have a greater appreciation for virtual events and the work that goes into them!
