Meghan and Tad's Aspen Wedding Photographer

I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing Meghan and Tad’s Aspen wedding this month! It was one of the most beautiful drives through the Colorado Rocky Mountains to Aspen as the trees changed to shades of yellow and red and everything in between! The wedding day began at the residences of the Five star Little Nell for portraits of Meghan and Tad… It truly is an amazing spot in an incredible town!

Then, as always, the details were captured. I truly love taking the time to document these details. They make every wedding unique, and show what is important to each bride and groom (not to mention, shows where a great deal of the budget was directed…)

wedding and event photographer The most powerful detail was a gold charm that each daughter wore. The charm read ‘daddy’ on one side and on the other had his actual fingerprint! I have never seen such an incredibly wonderful tribute! From the Little Nell, we headed across town to the historic St. Mary’s Catholic Church for the ceremony. Not to take away from the true romantic and spiritual parts of an actual wedding…my favorite part was the walkers used for the flower girl and ring bearer to head down the aisle!

Wedding photographer in aspen I love how small Aspen is!! A quick walk back across town (past the Saturday morning farmer’s market) and then up the gondola for the reception on top of the mountain! The wedding deck and Aspen Mountain Club are a perfect backdrop, making my job very very easy…

I have been lucky enough to have photographed a few weddings here at the Aspen Mountain Club, but the clear tent on the deck was a first. It was a cool addition!
