Corporate Event Photography at Miramar in San Diego

I sure appreciate every opportunity to photograph in Southern California!  Especially when it includes a catamaran trip in the bay and staying at the GORGEOUS Fairmont Grand Del Mar.  Really enjoyed the stay and highly recommend the property to anyone looking…

As much as I enjoyed staying on property, this job afforded the opportunity of a lifetime…an event at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar (MCAS Miramar)…TOP GUN!  I’ve been so very lucky to travel the world photographing events, but truly, this was one of the very coolest experiences:

The sounds of the jets flying overhead were thrilling!! And they had more aircraft parked inside the hangar for the party:

One of the amazing guest speakers at the event was producer Amy Ziering.  The very well-spoken Ziering has produced two powerful films raising awareness and bringing positive change affecting rape in the military and on college campuses.  Her films are called The Invisible War and The Hunting Ground.

Grammy and Tony nominated Michael Cavanaugh put on a great performance for the group.  He was hand-picked by Billy Joel for the Broadway musical  Movin’ Out:
