AVP Beach Volleyball Tournament, Santa Barbara

The AVP Beach Volleyball Tournament is in Santa Barbara, CA this weekend.  It really is one of my favorite sporting events to watch!!  If you haven’t ever had the chance to see a tournament in person, I highly recommend it!!

I’ll give you some reasons:  a DJ that plays great music, an entertaining announcer (Geeter), FANTASTIC volleyball players, sponsors with giveaways (Rockstar, Nivea, Malibu…), great people watching…just makes for a great day!!

Some of the most fun matches to watch were the games with local players because they brought a bunch of fans.  These hecklers were hilarious!!  After the game the guys that were being harassed even came over and high-fived these guys.
