Being a corporate event photographer sure has its perks! Seattle is a neat city with very nice people, and I really enjoyed visiting and photographing it! We stayed at the lovely and very conveniently located Four Seasons Hotel Seattle. It made it very easy to walk around downtown Seattle (Pike Place Fish Market, The Seattle Great Ferris Wheel..etc):
The Seattle Glassblowing Studio hosted group workshops so we could learn the art of glassblowing:
It was an educational and delightful experience that led perfectly into the evening event at the Chihuly Garden and Glass. Truly a highlight of the trip, this exhibit of Dale Chihuly’s work was spectacular. And located adjacent to the Space Needle, it was a great location:
Another wonderful experience was a private concert with singer-songwriter Christopher Cross. I knew and love his songs Arthur’s Theme and Sailing but learned three new ones that were exceptional as well: Think of Laura, Light the World and We Will Remember You honoring military service.
Another neat location and even was held at the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). Two current exhibits in particular were especially fun. Cars in various states of a roll over accident were hanging from the ceiling, and Disguise: Masks & Global African Art were awesome:
