In an attempt to capture something a little different, and hopefully a bit artsy, I used a camera that has been converted to capture infrared wavelengths of light (Thanks Lifepixel). Here are a few of the images:
It works well in bright sunlight, making green grass and trees brightly colored, and the sky and water dark. It’s a bit unpredictable, and hard to get the focus accurately, but I am pretty pleased with how they turned out!
Here’s one other from that gorgeous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass that I added a bit of sepia toning to… On one hand, I’m glad I’m not asked to photograph at high noon very often…on the other hand, I look forward to playing around with the Infrared camera a bit more! Thanks for checking them out!
