Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa Event Photography

Made up of 1192 islands, the Republic of Maldives is quite literally located on the other side of the world from Colorado, but sure was worth the trip to see! Our spectacular destination was the Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa:

Part of the charm of the Maldives islands (or atolls) is that only one hotel is allowed on each. In the case of the Four Seasons, not only is it the only resort, but it is the only item at all on the island. However, the true feature that sets the area apart is the gorgeous clear waters allowing for easy wildlife viewing, especially the incredible black-tip reef sharks!

Another highlight was taking a trip to the next island over to meet the locals! Several school kids demonstrated how life has looked in the area for generations:

I still can’t believe how far away it was (about 40 hours of travel), and how many beaches I must have flown over…but very grateful to have experienced the Maldives!
