I consider myself a wedding photographer first and foremost. One of the benefits is that on the day of a wedding, I am welcomed with open arms and met with smiles. Unfortunately, often times when it comes to a family portrait, it is one person who hires the photographer and upon arrival, I am met by one person smiling and a bunch of unwilling participants who were dragged to the dreaded family portrait…
However, it is moments like this job with the Hancocks that I am reminded of the importance of the family portrait. Grandpa’s health is failing and he is wheelchair bound.
I love hands….they can just say so much!
