The Crooked Willow Farm Venue in Larkspur, Colorado was the perfect setting for Christy and Jason’s wedding!! The day began beautifully, and as usual, I dove right in to photograph the details. I love seeing the little items that make each wedding truly unique!

It was gorgeous as I photographed all of the details…then all of sudden, the sky went dark and a CRAZY storm rolled through. It knocked over 2 trees, flooded the drains, and then cleared back up…all within about 20 minutes!

Because of the rain, the ceremony was moved indoors, but it didn’t stop one of the neatest aspects of the day…Christy and her dad enteredon a carriage! The clydesdale marched right into the room, dropped her off, waited during the ceremony and then led the carriage with Christy and Jason out the opposite door!

It’s so incredible when a friend sings at the wedding reception..in this case, a bridesmaid sang the first dance song…it was awesome!

One of the best moments of the night was watching the 2 year old dance…AND watch this series (first you dance, then flowers, then….):
