Workshop Events, Starkey Productions and Epicurean Catering threw a FANTASTIC party on Monday night for the Jewish Federations of North America’s 2011 General Assembly at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts Complex!
The guests arrived and were immediately greeted by the fun band, “Junkyard Dogs” and extremely enthusiastic sign spinners! Such a unique entrance!
The theme and decor was the four seasons (not the 60’s group, the actual calendar based ones). In the main atrium of the DCPA was fall. There was a free standing tent that was made into winter, and the ballroom was transformed for summer and spring. The bottom picture was taken before the summer/spring, but above the bar is the floating DJ station. He was up in the air all night…it was cool!
The entertainment was top notch! There were BMX bike riders, and the incredibly talented Hazel Miller Band:
To me, the highlight of the night was the performance by the Rocky Mountain Silhouettes! Fresh from performing on ‘America’s Got Talent’, they were so entertaining. Even if the act was ONLY silhouettes, it would have been great…but they would create a shape, and then the screen would fade into the Colorado icon they were forming, all set to John Denver’s ‘Rocky Mountain High’…it was awesome! Here are some of the images:
And my favorite part of their performance…transforming into words:
What a fun event!!! I was so happy to be asked to photograph it! Thanks Workshop Events!!
