Colorado Avalanche Stanley Cup Victory Parade

Hundreds of thousands of fans lined the streets of Denver to celebrate the Colorado Avalanche, winners of the 2022 NHL Stanley Cup. Made up of people from all walks of life, and especially a large number of families and children, the energy was electric. To help show the size, these first images were taken from the dome of the Denver Capital building, 99 steps above the 3rd floor:

One of the neatest realizations was that the players themselves seemed to be having just as much fun, if not more, than the fans! Gabriel Landeskog, in particular, reveled in the moment:
