Children’s Gala – Children’s Hospital Colorado Foundation

I’ve been lucky enough to be covering the Children’s Hospital Gala in Colorado since 2010! Next year the total fundraising should break the 50 MILLION dollar mark in all-time fundraising for the hospital, so it’s an incredible fundraiser that I’m grateful to contribute to! This year’s keynote speaker was former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice:

My favorite part of the night was meeting 12 year old Jude Nyame Yie Kofie. He has overcome heart complications and is autistic… AND taught himself the piano just from listening to music. He is awesome!!
