Brooks and Dunn Lifetime Achievement Award

Legendary country music duo Brooks & Dunn received a lifetime achievement award at the 64th Western Heritage Awards at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, OK.

First of all, it’s very worth mentioning how incredible the museum is! Learn all about western history (like cowboys and Native Americans), art and culture displayed with modern tech savy exhibits. It’s incredible (shout out to CEO Pat Fitzgerald)!

Prior to the award ceremony there was a delightful panel discussion moderated by actor Rex Linn. The guests were Kix Brooks, Ronnie Dunn and, actor Graham Greene (Dances with Wolves, among many other acting successes).

Two years ago, Pete Coors received the prestigious award and Brooks and Dunn were the presenters. Only fitting that Pete (and the wonderful Reba McEntire) was one of the presenters this year.
