Boston and Cape Cod – City and Countryside Trip

With over 50 Colleges and Universities, and with a rich history including Boston Common, Paul Revere’s House, and the Old North Church, Boston is an incredibly vibrant and enjoyable city to visit with the best of history and youth! Of course no trip to Boston could be complete with out an Alexander Graham Bell actor painted to look like a sculpture and a duck boat tour (quack quack):

We were lucky to stay in the centrally located Four Seasons One Dalton as we toured the town and View Boston and Fenway Park. Visiting Fenway and spending time with MLB Hall of Famer Jim Rice was an incredible experience! Rice, who played his entire 16-year MLB career with the Boston Red Sox, once leaped into the stands to assist a boy struck by a ball and seemingly the decision saved his life. As for Fenway, I enjoyed learning that Fenway Park is the oldest stadium in Major League Baseball, and opened just five days after the Titanic sank in 1912!

From Boston, we took a 90 min coach ride to the luxurious Wequassett Resort & Golf Club on Cape Cod. Gorgeous views, lobster, chowder, boats, Adirondack chairs… life is good on the Cape!

There were seals everywhere, and I learned that means there is a very healthy population of great white sharks that live in the area! Other neat items in the area were oyster farms and minke whales. I didn’t realize that nearly all oysters are from farms now and not caught ‘in the wild’.

Thanks for the great job Bespoke!
