2021 Gooding Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance

The official auction house of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Gooding & Company, set a world record auction price for a 1995 McLaren F1 at $20,465,000! The successful auction sold 115 lots amassing $107,045,410 in sales:

After the successful two-day auctions, it was time to take in the sights on the 18th fairway and the lawn at Pebble Beach. Amazing cars of course, but top-notch people watching!!

An exciting part of the day for most of the audience and participants is the judging and awards. The Concours website describes the process, “Our Class Judges focus first on originality and authenticity, seeking to ensure that vehicles are properly preserved or restored. Our Honorary Judges then approach the field with an eye to elegance. To be considered for our Best of Show award, a vehicle must first win its class.

The Best of Show at the 70th Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance was a 1938 Mercedes-Benz 540K Autobahn Kurier shown by The Keller Collection at The Pyramids:

Thanks so very much for the awesome job Gooding and Company!!
