I received a call asking if I could photograph a car auction…in Pebble Beach…starting in 6 hours from the time of the call…so hung up and headed to the airport! I had no idea what an incredible call that was until the weekend ended. It was spectacular people watching, fascinating car watching and overall, an outstanding experience!!
The entrance to the Pebble Beach Resort shows many ‘concept’ cars…Some won’t ever be produced but are one of a kind promos:
But the real show takes place on the closed 18th hole and green along the ocean! These are the cars up for judging, and also where the thousands of people flow through. It’s quite the scene!

Even though it’s 2014, I enjoyed converting some of these images into black and white because to me, they look timeless!
