Round Up River Ranch

My friend Brenda Allerton has become involved with the non-profit Round Up River Ranch, an organization that built an 85 acre ranch near Vail that will allow children with life-threatening injuries and illnesses to leave the hospital and enjoy a summer camp environment.  Brenda asked me to photograph the event last week at the Governor’s Mansion and are are a couple of pictures:  (a few were published today in the Denver Post http://blogs.denverpost.com/davidson/2010/02/22/happy-campers/)

So the Governor and his family actually live upstairs, but the downstairs is available for events.  So it was neat when Governor Ritter just walked downstairs to say hello for a few minutes.
