Condoleeza Rice for the USO

I sure enjoy working for and supporting the USO.  They support military members and their families around the world!  Had a wonderful time photographing a visit by former United States Secretary of State, Condoleeza Rice.

The story I enjoyed most was about another former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright.  Albright’s father was Condoleeza Rice’s teacher and Rice was his favorite student. When he passed away, Rice sent a bouquet of flowers and Albright learned who it was from.  Albright called Rice and said, “you were my father’s favorite student, would you like to work together on a campaign?”  Rice replied, “she couldn’t because she was a Republican” and Albright exclaimed, “how can that be, we shared the same father!”

I love hearing stories like these!
